'AN EXCELLENT EVENING'S ENTERTAINMENT- NODA REVIEW

Producer: Neil Morris
Musical Director: Ben Batt
Chorographer: Sarah Hemming assisted by Kerry Flint
Venue: Brownhills Technology College Theatre

This was an excellent evening’s entertainment and congratulations must go to all the production team for their flair and imaginative staging. The choreography was slick and well executed throughout and the music from solos to ensembles and chorus numbers was of a high standard and was well supported by the sympathetic playing of the band. With such a wealth of talent on show it is almost impossible to single anyone out but I must compliment Chris Parry for his rendition of Gethsemane. It was one of the best I have ever heard. Well done to everyone involved.

NODA NOMINATED FOR BEST PRODUCTION OF 2005!

Extract From 'NODA News' by Jean Beard:

"This was Greg Yates' debut as producer with AMCS and having sat with him at auditions I was interested to see how the cast members developed their characters and worked together. It was an entertaining show and 10/10 for Margaret Middleton the wardrobe mistress for having the ladies' shoes and tights to match. Ko-Ko's (David Speake) duet with Katisha (Maggie Parry) "Tit Willow" was one of the highspots of the show for me. "The Sun and I" from Sue Hatfield and "Alone and yet Alive" from Maggie Parry are also worth mentioning. MD Ben Kennedy had the orchestra and chorus under tight control."
